You know I first discovered Moringa in the year 2017 through Rujuta Diwekar’s book “Indian Superfoods. Back then, I often read about skin clearing food randomly on the internet and wound up disappointed every-time because random internet was/is junk and none of the exotic food items mentioned on random internet search ever worked.

The chapter on Moringa in Indian Superfoods struck a cord with me because, because Moringa was that one stop herb I realized could answer my prayers towards realizing great skin and body for Moringa was (is)  packed with nine essential amino acids, all the nine essential amino acids along with multitude of vitamins and minerals that no green offered (offers), not even kale because all random internet told me was, kale was THE SUPERFOOD, no it wasn’t, MORINGA was, is and will be forever.

I was desperate to get my hands on the precious herb. Every vendor I met told me “nobody eats moringa”(nugge soppu in kannada).

The trees are everywhere around here, drumsticks are used in sambar but there isn’t a demand for leaves. WHAT! So all that we do eat is Kale imported from the states?

After an extensive and exhaustive search I concluded I could rely on Healthy Buddha and Town Essentials’ delivery service to get my daily dose of Moringa leaves. The situation now is that we have tied up with farmers here to get my supplies of awesome herbs going .

Moringa is my staple food now and this is my three years of moringa consumption anniversary, Oh moringa, how I wish I had known about you earlier. I Love you moringa, you indeed are my super hero food.

Thank you that I live in India, the land where Moringa grows in abundance. I am not silly you guys, Moringa has done wonders to my skin, body and hair. I am CRAZAYY for you my moringala!

By the way, do you guys know Animesh’s home in Rupnarayanpur has these huge moringa trees and his mom makes me moringa dal, using freshly plucked moringa leaves, everyday of my stay at their home-town-villa, Well It is villa for me but Ani comes from a humble background and hates me calling his house a villa. We haven’t visited the home-town in two years now but I love the house. I’ll vlog the home whenever I visit there the next.
